The District Award of Merit is the highest award that may be presented to a Scouter at the district level. It recognizes registered adult volunteers who have rendered noteworthy service to youth in Scouting at the district level, including service beyond the expectations of their Scouting position.
This table includes all known District Award of Merit recipients from the Baden-Powell District of what is today the Cradle of Liberty Council, with records dating back as early as 1933.
Under current award criteria, the District Award of Merit may be presented to up to two recipients each year. Recipients must be registered Scouters, may receive the award only once, and the award may not be presented posthumously.
