Recognize Scouters and Scouts who make a difference!

As members of the Scouting family—parents, leaders, alumni, and friends—we have all witnessed the profound impact of BSA programs on our community’s youth. The volunteers in the Baden-Powell District dedicate immense effort behind the scenes, ensuring that every child enjoys a remarkable Scouting journey. From their initial steps as Lion Cubs to their proud ascent as Eagles, and every moment in between, our volunteers make it all possible. The success of Pinewood Derbies, Camporees, hikes, and unit meetings hinges on the tireless support of numerous leaders who give generously of their time.

The District Awards are our opportunity to honor those Scouters who have made a significant impact, either in your unit or in the life of your child. Whether they are parents, registered leaders, Den Chiefs, or representatives from your Chartered Organization, we want to hear about them. Please nominate these exceptional individuals for a District Award using the button below.

Please note the (updated) deadlines for nominations:

• All other nominations are due on/prior to April 9, 2024 and are now closed.
• District Award of Merit nominations are due on/prior to February 25, 2024 and are now closed.
• Distinguished Unit Leader Award (DULA) submissions were due by January 31, 2024 and are now closed.

We will present the awards at the District Awards & Recognition Dinner on May 5, 2024, at the North Penn VFW Post 676, located at 2519 Jenkintown Road, Glenside, PA.
